I believe that many of our problems stem from long-term over-adaptation to our external world with not enough attention being paid to the truth of our internal world. As a result we may feel we do not fit our skin or we may be living a life that is unfulfilling. Ultimately we can end up feeling stressed, depressed, anxious, angry, fearful about a whole range of life situations.
Based in the South West of England (hyperlink to Contact Me), I offer an integrative body psychotherapy approach, giving clients the chance to discuss, understand and learn from their challenges in a non-intimidating and non-judgemental environment.
I offer short-term counselling and longer term therapy in a wide range of areas including anxiety, stress, low self-confidence, Asperger’s syndrome, relationship difficulties, anger management and many more. As an Integrative Body Psychotherapist, I draw on a variety of therapeutic skills and have the ability to help you understand yourself more fully through sensations, felt emotions and physical experience of the self.

Asperger’s is an autistic spectrum disorder. Sufferers find it hard to communicate and interact with others. They don’t read unspoken language well. I don’t work with couples, but I can help with difficulties between couples, and between parents and their children. This work involves exploring feelings about the given situation, identifying if the problem is familiar and in what way, is it an issue of self-esteem, assertiveness, or something else? Anger is a normal and healthy emotion. Anger is the emotion we express when our needs are not met. If we have some history of it being unacceptable, out of control, or destructive we grow to have an unhealthy relationship with it.
